On September 21, 2017, fifty-one (51) women were honored for their leadership and commitment in manufacturing and related careers in Nebraska / Western Iowa at the first annual STEP Forward event.
STEP Forward is designed to recognize talented women in manufacturing and related "STEP" Careers (Science | Technology | Engineering | Production), creating networking and mentoring opportunities, and ultimately increase the number of females choosing STEP careers!
Carolyn Lee, Executive Director of the Manufacturing Institute was a Featured Speaker and presented the Awards to the STEP Forward Honorees:
